Leadership Team

Gordon McMillan

Chairman

Gordon McMillan has been an entrepreneur and investor in the financial services and technology industries for the past 30 years. Gordon was the founder and chief executive officer of Triax Capital Corp., Skylon Capital Corp., and VentureLink Asset Management Inc., all of which were asset management businesses that were sold to large industry consolidators. Gordon was also a co-founder and former Chairman and director of Converge Technology Solutions Corp., and a co-founder and former director of Quisitive Technology Solutions, Inc., both of which were Canadian publicly listed technology services roll-ups that were sold to private equity investors in 2025. He was also a co-founder and director of Pivot Technology Solutions Inc., which was a TSX listed technology services firm prior to being acquired in 2020. Gordon has served as a director of several private and public companies and investment funds throughout his career. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1991 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.

Klajd Elezaj

Partner & Director

Klajd spent five years at Lynx Equity, where he has worked across mergers and acquisitions and portfolio operations. He has been involved from start to finish in over 15 full buyouts across the manufacturing, IT and fiber optic infrastructure deployment, signage manufacturing, steel fabrication, and construction sectors. He has also worked closely with management teams on operational initiatives across the portfolio of companies. His experience spans deal evaluation, due diligence, transaction execution, financial and strategic analysis, and operational improvement. Klajd earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in 2021.

Andy McMillan

Partner & Director

Prior to joining Opus, Andy spent four years as an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in the firm's Securities Practice Group. During his time at Blakes, he advised a broad range of clients - including private equity sponsors, institutional investors and corporate issuers - on complex transactions spanning private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and a variety of capital markets matters. His experience includes acting on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, structuring public and private financings, with exposure to industries such as technology, healthcare and financial services. Andy earned his Juris Doctor from Queen's University in 2021, Master of Science from McMaster University in 2018 and Bachelor of Arts from Furman University in 2016.
